Peace prayers and Women's Day

Twitter is exploding with the news! Google is waving a multi-faced flag! Katies everywhere stick up their hands in unanimous triumph!

IT'S INTERNATIONAL WOMAN'S DAY!

Here in the library, we've got a certain special lady we like to celebrate. Ade Bethune. If you've spent any time in the library at all, you've seen her artwork lining the walls, her stained glass showing us colorful distortions of outside.

Stop by to view her art, or check out some of our fabulous resources.

Also you are invited to attend a peace prayer service at 6:30pm, Monday, March 11 at the Chapel of Our Lady of the Presentation, 1890 Randolph Avenue, Saint Paul, on the Sisters of St. Joseph (CSJ) grounds which is next door to the St. Kate's campus. Click here for a map of the CSJ grounds (building #3 is the Chapel of Our Lady of the Presentation).

Celebrate all the women in your life, today and everyday!
