The Sky is Falling! Read about meteorites

Last Friday, February 15, a meteorite streamed across the skies above Russia. According to a New York Times article, the meteorite was 10 feet across traveling at 10-12 miles per second. The shock wave from the rock hitting the earth's atmosphere caused windows to break and injured more than 1,000 people.
