ILL access 7/13

Starting around 9 p.m. on July 13, and lasting for 4-5 hours, our interlibrary loan system will be down for upgrades. During this time you will be unable to place interlibrary loans and you will not be able to enter the system to retrieve interlibrary loans.

This interruption should not affect any interlibrary loans you place before this time period, but if you do have any troubles or any questions, contact interlibrary loan at:

Library access July 4 weekend

UPDATE 7/4: Off-campus access to library databases appear to be working again. Let us know if you're still having issues accessing them - library@stkate.edu.

Due to the Kateway update, all off-campus access to library databases has unexpectedly become inaccessible.

We have contacted IT to see if there is any way they can fix the login, but we do not have a time frame for when it may be back up and running.

We apologize for this inconvenience.

ProQuest downtime Jan 16

On Saturday, January 16, starting around 9pm and lasting for 8+ hours, all our ProQuest databases and products will be down while they do upgrades.

This outage will affect downtime with the ProQuest citation manager RefWorks as well as these ProQuest databases:

• ProQuest Education
• ProQuest Newspapers
• ProQuest Dissertations & Theses
• PsycINFO
• Vogue Archive
• New York Times Historical
• And any other database or journal on the ProQuest platform

For almost all subject areas we have multiple databases on different platforms, so go to our Databases by Subject page and select your subject area to see other databases you may use during this ProQuest downtime.

By the morning of Sunday, January 17 these databases should be working again, but do contact us if you're having issues.

Google Scholar downtime until May 10

If you're used to using Google Scholar to try to find articles in our library, unfortunately right now you won't see links that lead to our content, like the "Full Text @ SCU" link.

This issue is on Google's end and they are working to resolve it, but it probably won't be resolved until the weekend. We are hoping by May 10 those links will be up and running again.

In the meantime, if you're having trouble finding articles, contact us at library@stkate.edu.

ILL issues May 1-3

Our interlibrary loan (ILL) system is being updated the weekend of May 1-3. During this update, the ILL system may run slower and the processing of requests may be slightly delayed.

This shouldn't cause any major problems, but if you're having trouble placing requests, contact the interlibrary loan office at: iloan@stkate.edu.

Things should be running smoothly again on Monday, May 4.
