Faculty Mentoring Award - March 17 deadline!

Do you know a faculty member in the College for Women who is an outstanding mentor to undergrads in research and scholarly work? Here is your opportunity to acknowledge them!

Nominations are being accepted for St. Catherine University's new Myser Family Excellence in Faculty Mentoring Award. The award (a $5,000 value) will recognize a faculty member in the College for Women who has demonstrated their commitment to undergraduate student success in research and scholarly work.

The Myser Family Excellence in Faculty Mentoring Award will be presented on April 28 at the 2015 Honors and Awards Ceremony. Nomination deadline is March 17.

New Acting Director: Jim Newsome

Effective immediately, Associate Professor James Newsome will assume the position of Acting Director of Libraries, Archives and Media Services.
Jim has been at St. Catherine for 26 years, first as Reference Librarian for 11 years and most recently as Head of Library Public Services for the last 15. He will serve as Acting Director until a permanent Director is appointed. 
Thanks to Jim for stepping into this important role for the libraries and for the University.
