Scholarship Scams...

Being cautious when applying for and accepting scholarships keeps us safe from scams.
Here are a few signs that a scholarship or grant is not legitimate:

  • The scholarship is offered in exchange for personal financial information (credit card or bank account number)
  • You have been selected for a contest/scholarship that you have not applied for
  • You are required to pay money for a scholarship
  • The scholarship is guaranteed

If you have questions regarding the credibility of a scholarship source or have experienced something similar, contact the Financial Aid office at 651-690-6540 or finaid@stkate.edu

Have you tried these sources for scholarships?
