New Database: ARTstor

Looking for images to help in your studies or teaching?  St. Kate's now has a subscription to ARTstor, a digital library of more than one million images in the areas of art, architecture, the humanities, and social sciences.  Search images representing collections from outstanding museums, photographers, libraries, scholars, photo archives, and artists and artists' estates.


ARTstor contains items in:

  • Film, Audio, Video, and Digital Art

This subscription to ARTstor is made possible by a number of generous sponsors at St. Catherine University.  Start-up costs for the subscription were donated by the following: the Department of Art and Art History, the Sister Mona Riley Endowed Chair in the Humanities, the Friends of the Catherine G. Murphy Gallery, the Student Senate, and the Graduate Student Advisory Board, as well as the Library.  The Library has also committed to paying the annual fees associated with maintaining our ARTstor membership at St. Kate's.
